Dr. Ormenișan Alina is a Primary Physician in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMF) since 2010 at the Târgu Mureș County Emergency Clinical Hospital.
In 1998 she began her academic career as a University Preparator at the UMFST Targu Mures, Discipline of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, to be promoted through competition in 2004 as a University Assistant, and in 2011 as a Senior Lecturer. Since 2016, she has been an Associate Professor at the Discipline of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
From November 2004 to October 2005, she followed a certificate of ‘In-depth Specialization in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry’ at the Faculty of Medicine in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
In 2009 she defended her doctoral thesis, obtaining the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences and in 2011 she became an accredited CMDR lecturer.
Since 2017 she has been a doctoral supervisor and since 2023, a coordinator of the residency in the specialty of Dento-Alveolar Surgery at the Târgu Mureș university center.
Currently, she is the Head of the Discipline – Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UMFST Târgu Mureș
