Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinu Cristian is a university lecturer and primary physician in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
He serves as the Dean of the Dental Medicine Faculty at the same university. As the founder of Med Artis Dent in Cluj-Napoca, a private clinic focusing on oral implantology, aesthetic dentistry, and periodontology, and the Dinu and Associates Implant Academy annual program, he has made significant contributions to the field.
He also holds a Master’s degree in Periodontal Plastic Surgery from the University of Bologna under Prof. Dr. Giovanni Zucchelli. Throughout the years, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinu Critian has received numerous awards at scientific events and is an author and co-author of over 90 works in national and international journals, including 8 specialty books.
He specializes in reconstructive microsurgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, craniofacial traumas and malformations, salivary gland pathology, advanced oral implantology, and periodontology.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinu holds the position of General Secretary at the Romanian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is an active member of the European Association of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Arbeitsgruppe für Osteosynthesefragen AOCMF, and the International Team of Implantology, among others.
