Dr. Irina Zetu is a University Professor at the discipline of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, and is a Primary Physician in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
She is the president of the Romanian Association for Excellence in Orthodontics (AREO), an Ambassador for the AAO (American Association of Orthodontics), a consultative member of the World Implant Orthodontic Association (WIOA), and a member of several international organizations, including the World Federation of Orthodontics (WFO), American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), European Federation of Orthodontics (FEO), European Orthodontic Society (EOS), Societe Francais d’Orthopedie Dentofaciale (SFODF), and the Association Internationale des Orthodontistes Francophones (AIOF).
She is also a member of the editorial board for several scientific journals andchas published over 10 books and more than 100 articles and has delivered over 200 major lectures at universities in various countries (USA and Europe), in both national and international scientific journals.
