Dr. Mircea Ghergie is a primary orthodontic physician and Senior Lecturer at the Discipline of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Dental Medicine.
He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences, achieved through the defense of his doctoral thesis on the topic: “Research on genetic factors involved in dentomaxillary anomalies,” and a Master’s degree in dental and facial aesthetics from the Zahnmedizinisches Fortbildungszentrum, Stuttgart, Germany.
He is a prolific author, having published over 25 extensive articles in ISI and BDI rated journals, and is the founder of the “Dental Expert” clinic in Cluj-Napoca, as well as the founder and speaker at Ortho Academy. Moreover, he serves as an instructor for fixed therapy courses – the Alexander technique, at the Alexander Foundation for Orthodontic Research and Education, Arlington, Texas, USA. He has participated in numerous courses both domestically and internationally, organized by AREO (Romania), SIDO (Italy), AAO (USA), WFO (UK), WIOC (Romania).
