Dr. Rafael Martín-Granizo is a distinguished Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive experience in the field. He has been a dedicated staff member at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid, Spain, since 1997. In 2000, he earned the prestigious title of Fellow of the European Board of Oro-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (FEBOMFS). Dr. Martín-Granizo served as the President of the Spanish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (SECOM) from 2009 to 2011 and has been actively involved in various professional organizations including IAOMS, EACMFS, and SECOM. Additionally, he is a European Evaluator and a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery.

Over his 30 years as a resident and faculty member, he has amassed a wealth of experience, performing over 300 cases of arthrocentesis, more than 1,000 joints in 800 patients through arthroscopy, and numerous cases of open surgery for TMJ reconstruction using various techniques.
